Seriously?

OK, you know it's one thing to get nauseous and barf, it's a whole other thing to dry heave. This is not fun.

I'm not so sick that I want to take medication.... yet. I've maybe lost a pound which is nothing to worry about. I keep food down when I sleep so I make sure to eat yogurt or ice cream before bed so I can take my prenatal vitamin. So, it's OK for now.

The cats join me in the bathroom whilst I gag, wretch and on occasion, hurl. Our sweet Mario sits right next to the toilet bowl and watches. Sometimes he stands on his hind legs with his paws on the edge next to mine. He looks at me, then looks at the water, then back again. He doesn't get it. Maybe he knows it's not fun because once I spit, flush, wash, rinse and brush he rubs up against me and purrs loudly. On the other hand, maybe he's thanking me for the entertainment. During the dry heaves I can tell he gets bored.

It's always fun 'round these parts.

Isn't it great? I've had the fun of losing 6 pounds. I also love that even though I am no longer in my first trimester I feel exactly the same. I can't eat any meat without gagging and the other day I tried some yogurt and then realized it wasn't going down but back up. Good times. I think it prepares us for dealing with anything, including barf, for our kids. That's what I tell myself anyways.

Oh Ann, I am sorry you are experiencing this.
So Sweet that your cat Mario stays by your side.
I hope it gets better for you soon. (((HUGS)).

I am 15 weeks today and I still have issues.
Like Yesterday..I was fine most of the day. Then at 7pm I decided to have a little cereal..Well it just sat in my stomach like a lead ball for the rest of the night. It is awful. This is what I have been experiencing for the last 8 weeks.
I don't have any desire for any type of meat, or chicken.

Know that you are always in my Thoughts and Prayers!!
xoxo
