And.....We're Off!

I am seriously just learning how to do all this Blogging stuff. Thank goodness this is relatively idiot proof. There's even spell check....which is a good thing since my spelling has gotten questionable as I get older. Now I just need to remember to actually click the button and do the checking.

Most everyone who will read this knows us already. But for any visitors coming to watch us grow, let me introduce ourselves. There's Me (Ann), my husband Robb and Robb's daughter Syd. We are newlyweds. Well....let me think about that....how long are you considered "newly wed"? We've been married 2 years and a few months so I guess we're still considered new. We certainly feel like our honeymoon isn't over and comment on the fact that maybe one day we'll wake up feeling like we're past that lovey dovey stage...although we hope that never happens. We are best friends and truly like each other. We are very lucky. We know this. Our wedding favors were lucky bamboo! Not terribly original but helped illustrate how we feel.

As this blog gets going I hope to share our journey to building our life, marriage and family. We're on an infertility journey (IVF) that has been challenging at best and heart breaking at it's worst. All the while Robb and I work hard on remembering who we are, why we do what we do and never lose sight of just how lucky we are already.
