I'm ready for the weekend and so glad it's Friday.

My belly no longer itches nor looks like a baboons ass. I've let the Lupron come to room temperature the last two shots and I think that helps. That and the benedryl.

The new year has started out interestingly. We've gotten an offer on our house. A low one but still an offer. We'll see how the sellers respond to the counter. I don't enjoy this part of house selling. For that matter I do not enjoy buying a car for the same reason. I'm not good at it and do not enjoy the back and forth negotiation. Thank goodness for the Honda Accord that could...it's still going strong so no need for a new car purchase in our future. *knocks wood*

My poor sweet Dad is going through a new phase for the New Year as well. I'm sending him lots of love and good vibes as I sit here typing.

We had a snow day yesterday here in the deep south. We got a few snow flurries but nothing stuck. Instead, it's cold as hell and the wind is blowing. I need to go to Wally World and shop but the thought of doing that after dark when it's 20 degrees and windy does not appeal. Instead here I sit randomly posting on our blog.

I'm not making a big deal out of next cycle. We'll be thawing and using our frozen embryos soon as you've probably gathered. The thought of getting excited and telling everyone the "good" news overwhelms me because I do not want to have to tell everyone if something awful happens. But, I know I will likely get more excited as the days get closer, will again fall in love from the moment we see the two lines and then work hard staying positive and not worrying until delivery. Please God let there be a healthy baby in the end. Please.

No nasty side effects from the pills this time and aside from the rash and a mild headache from the Lupron, I'm feeling well. I'm pissed at the weight gain but can't do anything about it. Whoremoans are a bitch.

Congratulations to all my bloggity friends whose pregnancies are thriving! I am so very excited for all of you and your dear misters. We'll be celebrating with you all as your deliveries get closer.

Lupron Gives Me A Rash

Got my H1N1 shot today. All ready to get knocked up again.

Happy 2010!!!

It's been a long time posting. We had a lovely Christmas with lots of family at our place. The Mister and I have two sets of parents each so there were FOUR sets of grandparents to enjoy DSD Syd. She was with us from the 18th-25 at 3:00 PM. This year was just magical for her. She's 7 and smart enough to know what tracking Santa on radar means so she truly enjoyed NORAD's web page and watching the movement of Santa and the Reindeer. They really do a great job with that every year. She was thrilled to see that Santa ate all but half of one cookie and drank his eggnog. Thrilled. No I mean it, she stuck that half cookie in all of our faces that morning to show us how he really had been here.

New Years was low-key just the way we like it. My Mom and step-dad were still here so we went out for dinner (holy busy Batman) and then dropped them off at home where they enjoyed a smidgen of Port and watched the neighborhood fireworks. The Mister and I left and went to a cigar friendly bar to have two drinks and catch up with each other before the New Year rolled in. I don't know about any of you but that Full Blue Moon made all residents in our household a bit squirly. :-)

New Years Day I woke up early and put Country Pork Ribs in the crock pot with sauerkraut and beer. They cooked all day (despite my disappointment in my Rival Crock pot boiling food on "Low" setting) and with a watchful eye, turned out just splendidly. I made smashed red potatoes and Black Eyed Pea Salad- Lower Alabama Caviar recipe from Lulu's in Orange Beach, AL. I found the recipe on yumsugar.com. Which looks like a cool website that I'll have to spend more time on later. The neighbors came over about 4:00, we ate a lot, drank sweet tea and played Wii the rest of the day and evening. The fun lasted until 9:30! I'm so glad they came over with their two kids; it was just so relaxing and nice. We'll miss them when we move, which we have to do in March.

Tomorrow I'm going to Unity for the burning bowl service. I think you put your fears, worries, etc. on paper and then toss them in a bowl and burn them up. I have a lot of things to send into the ether. Lots of loss in 2009- two pregnancies, three babies and my beloved Nana. I am done with it. Done. Done. Done. It's time for sadness to be replaced with joy, fear replaced by love and hope.
